Stacey Young Rivers, Moderator

Senior Director of People Growth + Enterprise Skills Strategy
Warner Bros. Discovery

Stacey Young Rivers is the senior director of people growth and enterprise skills strategy at Warner Bros. Discovery. She oversees curriculum development, content development, learning delivery and the learning infrastructure. Prior to this role, Stacey was the director of tech human capital management for the technology division at WarnerMedia. She was responsible for competency framework models, employee skills assessments and learning and development strategies, including the technology internship program at Turner Broadcasting in partnership with colleges and universities.

Throughout her career journey, Stacey has received several awards for her impact and contribution. In 2019, she was selected as the Association for Talent Development (ATD) "One to Watch" for her leadership in learning and development. In 2020, Stacey was awarded a fellowship with Mercer University’s STEM Education Innovation Lab, and last year she received the Woman of Color in STEM Technology All-Star Award (2021).

Stacey is currently a Ph.D. candidate in educational leadership at Mercer University (Atlanta), where her research focus is on using massive open online course (MOOC) models to support career development. She is an author and avid blogger who loves to share learning insights via her LinkedIn newsletter “Level Up on Learning.”
