Jennifer Buchanan

Senior Director II, Leadership, Learning and Talent Development
Sam's Club/Walmart Inc.

Jennifer leads field learning and development for 600 Sam’s Club locations and supply chain. She is the designer and head of Sam’s Field U, a flow of work learning program that provides associates quick and easy access to all things learning. Through Sam’s Field U Jennifer has launched numerous award-winning programs. Prior to Sam’s Club, Jennifer led the International Ethics, Compliance and Global Anti-Corruption Training and Awareness Team at Walmart International and the Regulatory Compliance Training Program at American Express. She also held training and staff positions at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, U.S. Central Command, U.S. Special Operations Command and Department of Veterans Affairs. Jennifer is vice chair of Walmart SERVES Associate Resource Group and learning pillar lead for Walmart Military Programs Governance. She holds a master’s degree in education from the University of South Florida and a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.
